**INT. POLICE PRECINCT - DAY**

Vance is publicly berating a young, uniformed cop, OFFICER MILLER (20s, sharp, ambitious), for a minor procedural error. He’s a bully, enjoying his power.

**EXT. PRECINCT - LATER**

Reign approaches Officer Miller as she’s getting into her car.

REIGN
Detective Vance seems to have it out for you.

MILLER
He has it out for everyone.

REIGN
I have a proposition. I know about your mother’s medical bills. I can make them disappear.

Miller looks at her, suspicious.

MILLER
What do you want?

REIGN
Information. On Vance.

Miller is about to refuse, but then her expression hardens.

MILLER (CONT’D)
I don’t want your money. I want justice. My partner was killed a year ago. The official report says it was a bust gone wrong. But I know Vance was there. And I know he covered it up.

Reign looks at the fire in Miller’s eyes. She hasn’t just found a source. She’s found a weapon.

MILLER (CONT’D)
I won’t be your pawn. I’ll be your partner. And we’re going to burn him to the ground.
