**EXT. CROWDED MARKET - DAY**

Reign is walking, aware she is being followed. She ducks into a narrow, crowded alleyway, then doubles back, trapping her pursuer.

A woman, ANNA (40s, deadly, focused, with the cold eyes of a killer), finds herself face-to-face with Reign.

ANNA
You’re good.

REIGN
So are you. But you’re predictable.

Anna tenses, ready for a fight. But Reign holds up a hand.

REIGN (CONT’D)
I’m not your enemy. I know what Damien did to you.

Anna’s eyes narrow. She doesn’t trust her.

REIGN (CONT’D)
I can get you close to him. Close enough to finish what you started. But I want something in return.

ANNA
What?

REIGN
Damien has a kill switch. A key to the city’s entire infrastructure. Help me get it, and I’ll help you get your revenge.

Anna looks at Reign, seeing a fellow predator. An alliance is forged in their shared desire to destroy a common enemy.
