**FADE IN:** **INT. DIVE BAR - NIGHT** Reign, her back against the wall, calls a meeting with the one person she knows hates Jonathan as much as she now does. Meech. Meech is a broken man, drinking his life away after being cast out by Jonathan. REIGN I’m going to destroy him. And I want your help. MEECH (a bitter laugh) What’s in it for me? REIGN What you’ve always wanted. The throne. Help me take him down, and I’ll give you whatever is left of the empire. You can be the king of the ashes. Meech’s eyes light up with a flicker of his old, greedy ambition. He agrees. MEECH (CONT’D) But I have one condition. When the time comes... I want you to be the one to do it. I want him to see your face when he dies. Reign looks at him, her heart a cold, dead weight in her chest. Can she bring herself to kill the man she once loved?
