The Duet

Reign and Jonathan fight side by side one last time. Anna gets the kill switch.

**FADE IN:**

**INT. DATA HUB - SERVER ROOM - NIGHT**

Chaos. The oxygen level is dropping. People are starting to gasp for air. In the midst of the firefight, Reign and Jonathan find themselves pinned down behind the same server rack.

Their hatred for each other gives way to the primal instinct of survival.

Without a word, they begin to move together. It’s a muscle memory, a forgotten dance. Reign points, Jonathan shoots. He reloads, she covers. They are a brutally efficient team.

For a moment, the war, the betrayal, it’s all forgotten. There is only the mission.

They clear a path to the central terminal. But as they approach, Anna, who has used the chaos to her advantage, gets there first. She grabs the kill switch, a small, encrypted hard drive.
