**FADE IN:** **INT. DATA HUB - SERVER ROOM - NIGHT** The oxygen is almost gone. The emergency lights are failing. Jonathan stands, holding the drive. He has won. Anna is dead. Damien’s network is destroyed. Reign is defeated. He turns to Reign, a look of absolute triumph on his face. JONATHAN It’s all mine. Everything. He offers his hand to her. JONATHAN (CONT’D) Join me, Reign. For real this time. As my queen. Reign looks at his hand, then at his face. She sees the monster he has become, the man who was willing to burn the world to rule the ashes. REIGN No. Jonathan’s face hardens. JONATHAN Then you have nothing. He turns to leave her to die in the suffocating room. But he stumbles, a sharp gasp escaping his lips. He clutches his side. He looks down. A small, almost invisible poisoned dart is embedded in his suit. He looks back at Reign. She is holding a tiny, concealable launcher. She planted it on him during their firefight, a final, secret move in a game only she was playing. **SMASH CUT TO BLACK.** **ON SCREEN TEXT: THE KING IS DEAD.
